MY PHILOSOPHY
My name is Maximilian Reinhart; I am a freelance filmmaker and photographer based in Salzburg, Austria. While still being in an art-focused school, I started making videos as a hobby. It quickly became a passion and after years of experience, I’ve turned it into my profession.
Throughout the years I´ve produced videos for a variety of clients but I also work on personal projects on a regular basis.
As a filmmaker, sportsman and adventurer, I´ve always loved being outdoors. Seeing the view from mountain tops or absorbing the atmosphere in fog covered forests has always been a great inspiration for my video work. When I experience such moments, I feel the most creative and capturing all this has taught me a lot about filming. Aside from the sheer beauty, nature can be a very tough environment. It isn’t easy to operate a camera at -13° celsius or to focus on composition when you hang off a cliffside. These challenges are all part of what it takes to get those unique angles and exciting shots and so far, it has always been worth it.
I always try to transfer the emotions I feel in nature into all my projects:
Remaining calm and focused, trying to find beauty in the moment,
and thus creating beautiful, moving images for my clients.

I have always been posting videos and photos of my passion and my daily life on my Instagram account. I treat my personal account as an open book diary - surfing, filmmaking and skiing… a lot of skiing.
